The Guardian Angel Program was created for the care of cats and dogs who have chronic, long-term illnesses or acute short-term issues that require more care than what is routine. This program also helps care for pets who are overlooked for adoption because of their color, age or personality and are with Second Chance an extended period of time.
They are either looking for their forever home or not medically ready to be adopted. Some may spend their remaining years at our Adoption Center or in our family of foster homes.
Second Chance wants our supporters to know more about the animals in our programs and how they can assist with the cost of their care.
